Built by data center engineers, run from Jonesboro
The crew learned hardware retirement in the Mid-Atlantic data center corridor and runs the same custody discipline out of Craighead County. Qualifying corporate lots of 10 or more assets are collected, sanitized, and certified with no invoice.
Where the practice came from
NEA IT Services was founded by engineers who retired hardware in the Mid-Atlantic technology corridor: Northern Virginia, Loudoun County, and suburban Maryland. Contracts in that market are settled on audit chains rather than trust, and the habits it teaches carry over directly: serialize before anything moves, sign at every transfer, verify before a drive is released.
Regional enterprises, hospital systems, financial institutions, and school districts across Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri were left to distant scrap handlers that charged to collect. We put the processing floor in Craighead County instead, inside the territory it serves.
The zero-invoice model
Engineering our own NIST SP 800-88 sanitization engine took the third-party per-drive wiping licence out of the cost base. Component harvesting and remarketing of enterprise hardware cover the rest, so pickup, logistics, and certified destruction carry no client invoice on qualifying corporate lots of 10 or more assets.
What else the crew does
ITAD and e-waste recovery is the main line of work, and the reason the bench, the routes, and the certificate ledger exist. The same technicians install structured cabling and low-voltage pathways, relocate equipment between desks, floors, and buildings, troubleshoot what stops working, stage replacement hardware, and build and look after business websites. Outgoing units route straight back into the retirement program, and one dispatch number covers all of it: (870) 617-0131.
