Computer repair and upgrades

Fixed, upgraded, or honestly retired

Desktops, laptops, and small servers for homes and businesses across Northeast Arkansas. Every consultation is at no charge: we look, we tell you whether a repair or an upgrade is worth it, and if it is not, the machine can go through the retirement program with a certificate instead.

How a repair goes

Tell dispatch what the machine is doing and where it is. A technician looks at it on site or arranges a handoff, and the consultation costs nothing whether it ends in a repair, an upgrade, or advice to replace the machine. If work is worth doing you get a written estimate before anything is opened, and the same custody habits apply to your data as on the sanitization bench: drives are handled by a named technician and nothing leaves the building undocumented.

Machines that are not worth repairing do not have to become a problem. They can join the retirement program, be sanitized on the Oblitero bench, and come back as a certificate you can verify online, while the parts and metals go to certified downstream recovery.

What we handle

Repairs

Machines that will not start, run hot, crash, or lose power; screens, keyboards, ports, fans, and power supplies; failing drives and boot problems.

  • Desktops, laptops, and small servers
  • Hardware diagnosis before any parts are ordered
  • Written estimate first, no surprise work

Upgrades

Solid state drives, memory, and operating system moves that make a good machine fast again instead of replacing it, with your files and settings carried across.

  • SSD and memory upgrades
  • Operating system refresh or migration
  • Advice on what is worth upgrading and what is not

Data transfer and setup

Moving a person or an office onto new machines: files, mail, printers, and settings, then the old units retired properly.

  • Files, mail, and settings to the new machine
  • Old drives sanitized and certified
  • Printers, wireless, and accounts reconnected

Tune-ups and cleanup

Slow machines cleaned up, unwanted software removed, updates applied, and a plain explanation of what was found, for one computer or a whole office.

  • Performance and startup cleanup
  • Updates and unwanted software removed
  • Standing arrangement for offices on request

Not sure whether to fix it or replace it?

That is the consultation, and it costs nothing. Tell dispatch what the machine is doing; a technician looks and gives you a straight answer, with a written estimate only if work is worth it.
